It sounds like a funny headline a street crier might holler on the corner to sell newspapers. “Extra! Extra! Baby Bites Dog!”

This video is an oldie, but a goody, and this morning while I was looking for a laugh, I stumbled across it on YouTube. This giggling infant and dog are possibly one of the cutest duos I’ve seen in weeks, so I had to share it.

Little Evie wants Jack’s ball because it’s fun and squeaky. Jack seems to realize his antics are making her giggle, so he keeps rolling around and squeaking the ball. It’s like the tables are turned, and between giggles, baby Evie dives in and pretends to bite Jack.

The best part, aside from the contagious giggling, is the obvious bond between this little girl and the family dog. They are going to be best friends for years to come. I see sleepovers, backyard camping, bedtime stories, shared bowls of ice cream and lots of under the table feedings in this lucky dog’s future.

Suddenly, I feel the urge to go roll around on the floor with my husky to see if he’ll try to keep me from taking his ball. I’ll let you know how that goes!
